Bio
Tyler Shelton is entering his third season as recruiting coordinator for the Johnson University Royals. In his first year, the team finished 24–22 and made the first conference tournament appearance in program history. This was followed by a 36–18 season in 2025—the most wins in program history—along with the program’s first national tournament appearance and first top-25 finish. Shelton has helped recruit four all-conference players, one preseason All-American, and two players who have gone on to play professionally (Pioneer League, CBL). Shelton played and graduated from Johnson University.
