Lady Royals Sweep Reinhardt Behind Walk-Off Win and Offensive Explosion

The Lady Royals picked up a dominant doubleheader sweep over Reinhardt on Wednesday, using late-game execution in game one and an explosive offensive performance in game two.
Johnson opened the day with a 2-1 extra-inning victory in a tightly contested battle. Reinhardt struck first with a solo home run in the opening inning, but the Lady Royals stayed composed and responded in the fifth. Dylan Jablonski came around to score on a triple from Kadie Presley to tie the game at 1-1.
The game remained locked until the bottom of the eighth when Presley once again sparked the offense, eventually scoring the game-winning run on a clutch RBI single from Audrey Moorhouse to secure the walk-off victory.
Lindy Webber was outstanding in the circle, tossing a complete game and striking out 10 while allowing just one run on six hits.
In game two, the Lady Royals wasted no time taking control and never looked back, rolling to an 8-0 run-rule victory.
Johnson jumped out early with two runs in the first inning and added another in the second before breaking the game open in the sixth. The Lady Royals plated five runs in the inning, highlighted by a three-run home run from Megan Armstrong.
The offense was firing on all cylinders, finishing with 13 hits. Audrey Moorhouse led the way with three hits and two runs scored, while Adelaide Hubbard added two hits and two RBIs. Aly Dickerson also had a big day at the plate with three hits and an RBI, and Dylan Jablonski contributed two RBIs.
Alyssa Nicely was dominant in game two, throwing a complete game shutout while allowing just three hits and striking out five.
With the sweep, the Lady Royals are co AAC Champions and have earned an automatic bid to the National Tournament.
